ADHD Diagnostic Assessment Services

TherapyWorks Neurodiversity is offering diagnostic and treatment services for
children, youth, and adults who are neurodivergent or who are seeking confirmation of a diagnosis. Our comprehensive services include treatment planning and short-term medical follow-up, which may involve medication recommendations and prescriptions if appropriate.

Our Approach

For clients interested in medication management following a confirmed diagnosis, assessments are conducted by our Nurse Practitioner (NP). If medication is not part of your treatment plan, a Registered Clinical Social Worker (RCSW) will guide your diagnosis and treatment planning.

In addition to diagnostic assessments, we offer a wide range of counselling, executive functioning support, and therapy services. These are available for anyone struggling with attention, planning, organization, memory, sensory issues, emotional regulation, and more.

ADHD Assessment Process

Our ADHD assessment process is thorough and designed to ensure accurate diagnosis and effective treatment planning. Here's what you can expect:

  1. Referral: Clients may be referred by a professional or may self-refer for an ADHD assessment.

  2. Information Collection: We gather basic demographic details to open your client or patient file.

  3. Assessment Package: An assessment package, including intake forms, is sent to you.

  4. Form Completion: You complete the forms online at your convenience.

  5. Initial Assessment: Your first assessment visit takes place.

  6. Review & Scoring: We score the assessment and review your file before your second visit.

  7. Follow-Up & Treatment Plan: During your second visit, we discuss the results and develop a treatment plan tailored to your needs. You will also receive a brief diagnostic report.

Pre-Diagnostic Consultation

With the exception of ADHD assessments, clients must book a free 15 minute ADHD pre-diagnostic consultation session before booking a first time visit with the Nurse Practitioner. The purpose of this visit is to confirm the reason for the visit and
arrangements for ongoing medical care needs.

ADHD Questionnaire

Thank you for considering this questionnaire. If you are seeking an ADHD diagnosis or looking for support, your responses will help us understand your needs better and guide you toward appropriate resources and assistance. Please take a moment to answer the questions thoughtfully to ensure we can provide you with the most accurate and helpful information.
