Nurse Practitioner Services

Nurse Practitioner services at TherapyWorks support access to specialized assessment and short term primary care management for patients who are neurodivergent, many of whom do not have access to ongoing medical support.
NP Services available to neurodivergent individuals include:

Collaborative team based ADHD assessments for children and adults

Medical assessment of eligibility for Person's with Disability designation for income supports and some other government supports and benefits

Recommendations for accommodations within school and work settings

Short term medication management for patients with an ADHD diagnosis​
As part of our commitment to expanding team based care, TherapyWorks continues to grow our team of professionals to create comprehensive approaches to support the communities we are connected to.
We are fortunate to have Tess Walde, MSN, NP, ADHD-CCSP, as a member of our team.Tess Walde is a Family Nurse Practitioner registered with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing – Nurse Practitioner degree from Athabasca University in 2018, and has since dedicated her practice to providing comprehensive, compassionate care for marginalized and at-risk populations in primary care settings.

In 2022, Tess completed a specialty certification in Mental Health and Addictions through the University of Toronto, enhancing her ability to support patients with complex mental health and substance use needs. She further expanded her expertise in 2025, earning the ADHD-CCSP credential, which recognizes advanced competency in the diagnosis and treatment of ADHD across the lifespan.

With over 18 years of nursing experience across diverse healthcare environments, Tess brings an integrative and patient-centered approach to every aspect of her practice—combining clinical skill, empathy, and evidence-based care to help individuals achieve optimal health and confidence.
How to Book an Appointment
Please contact our office to book an appointment with our Nurse Practitioner. The intake team member will confirm the reason for your visit and eligibility for services with our NP.
