Clinical Director/ Counsellor
Lori Seeley
I am integrative in my approaches to therapy, so I draw on a broad range of therapy tools. My prior career as an Occupational Therapist still heavily influences how I support clients. I am strongly aligned with strengths based approaches and supporting clients in identifying the resources they need to
be able to function in the environments that are important to them. My Social Work education means that I understand the systems that people have to be a part of and the way that some systems can either support or hinder individuals. My Social Work ethos means that I believe that the role of a counsellor can also be in advocating change in those systems (families, schools, work settings, government programs, health care).
My approaches are varied and often overlap, but include sensory and somatic based approaches, EMDR, relational counselling, family therapy, play based therapy and expressive therapies, as well as others. I work with clients of all ages, but I always say "teens are my jam" and quirky and nerdy teens hold a special place in my heart. This translates well to supporting adults who have received diagnoses of neurodiversity later in life. We can work through exploring identity with this new lens and a new understanding.

I am a neurodivergent therapist and business owner and strongly neurodiversity, disability, sexuality and gender affirming in my practice.
In my free time I love travel, camping, spending time with family, and decorating cakes and cookies. Therapy isn't all hard work and fun and laughter need to be part of the process. If that's also important to you, we'll probably be a great fit.

At TherapyWorks, we look forward to helping you find your future path forward and helping you create a belief in yourself that brings you strength, a positive and affirming self identity, peace from negative past experiences, and confidence to reach your potential.

Occupational Therapist Assistant
Kimberly Kaufman
Hi, I’m Kim! I work as an occupational therapist assistant (OTA) under the supervision of Heidi Watson. I mainly work with children and young adults who need support to handle the stressors and symptoms of ADHD, ASD, anxiety, depression, and PDA. I am committed to learning as much as possible about supporting children, youth, and young adults on their developmental journey.
I am a 3rd-year Bachelor of Social Work student learning about and implementing creative interventions, evidence-based and person-centered approaches, and incorporating strengths-based practices. My experience working with young adults and children as a swimming instructor helps me continue to learn and try again when I miss the mark in sessions!
Fun fact: I love animals and can be found trying to befriend any I meet. As a born and raised farmgirl, I’ve met cows, horses, sheep, goats, dogs, cats, and chickens. Out of all these hundreds of animals, I have only met three (my sister’s cat, a cow born the same year as me, and a rooster) I could not befriend.

Youth Development Team Lead/ Therapy Assistant
Kelsey Jones
Kelsey recently completed her Bachelor's in Psychology from Thompson River's University. Very young children hold a special place in her heart and she really enjoys using play based approaches to support their developmental goals.
Kelsey hails from a small town near Edmonton, Alberta. She joins many on our team who have interests in all things geek. Kelsey enjoys Dungeons and Dragons, Pokemon, Magic the Gathering, and many table top role play games. Kelsey has recently adopted two adorable kittens, named Finn and Gus, and is hoping to learn how to swap her skis for a snowboard this winter.
As a neurodivergent team member, Kelsey is looking forward to connecting with clients in individual and group programs and to support.
